Mathematics
At Willaston, we deliver a consistent and progressive curriculum, which develops children’s mathematical learning in order for them to have confidence with number, shape, space and measures and calculation strategies, to develop life-long skills as they become adults and use maths in everyday life.
We use a variety of resources based on the ‘concrete, pictorial, abstract’ approach alongside technology, to engage children and their learning and their development of mathematical language and processes.
