Unfortunately we are unable to offer visits and tours for prospective parents and pupils due to Covid 19. This decision will be reviewed every half term. To give you a glimpse into Willaston Primary, we are producing a virtual tour of the school: this will be available in the next few weeks and will be shared on our website and social media pages. If you wish to be added to a mailing list regarding more information, updates, the release of the virtual tour and future possible visits, please send your email to email@example.com.
Admission of Pupils
There are two types of school admission at Willaston Primary Academy, the annual intake in September for reception age children and 'In-year' admissions.
For our annual Reception Class intake we have 30 places available. Should the school be oversubscribed then places are allocated on criteria specified by the academy's Admissions Policy. Admissions for the Reception class intake are administered by Cheshire East Local Authority.
If your child is currently in another school or the admissions window is closed you will need to apply via Cheshire East local Authority for an 'In-year' admission. Again, our pupil admission number is 30 places per year group. The same criteria will be applied. found in the Admissions Policy below.
Further information is available here - Cheshire East Admissions Information.
Should an admissions application be refused, parents have the right to appeal to Willaston Primary Academy. Please email, firstname.lastname@example.org, to request an appeals form or call Mr Simms on 01270 661528 option 2 to discuss the appeals process further.
Before considering to appeal please refer to the Schools Admissions Code 2014. This can be found via the following link:
